The Flamethrower is a special Primary weapon, added in Pre-Alpha 1.6.0.
Combat[]
The Flamethrower is relatively weak and has little range, and can be applied to very few situations. It deals no damage, however when fired it can ignite other fighters at close range. However, flames can penetrate through cover if you aim the weapon correctly. A player that is on fire will begin to lose health, however if you continuously fire at an already ignited player, the player will begin to blaze, losing health much quicker than before.
The best use for the Flamethrower is to try and pick it up early in a match where you can douse players at close ranges, or closer towards the end of the fight when you will need a weapon that can uproot a player from cover so you can get him out in the open. Fire can be intimidating so use it to your advantage and conserve it.
